Love the detailing in its legs. It'd be great if you could give the shell that amount of detail too, more cracks and evidence of rubbing where the plates meet. At the moment it looks a little like he's covered himself in bits of log or something. The lines on the shell are currently what gives it away as being tabletwork.

I can imagine a swarm of these getting along really well in a prehistoric jungle. I can imagine the kinds of sounds it'd make too.
