I usually start reading novels and play pokemon for a while until I get the urge to draw again

I stop for awhile till something strikes my fancy but if I REALLY want to draw and need ideas I look at other peoples art on here and try to find inspiration.

I only realised about halfway through this year that I'd barely taken any photos since finishing photography boards last year. I think this was to do with burn out, non-satisfaction with final grade and feeling overshadowed by the talents (and expensive equipment) of once of my classmates, who is also now a close friend.

When out of ideas and motivation, I began to again work to goals and briefs and once I started getting some sort of return on my efforts, I wanted to keep doing it again and found the motivation in myself. I like seeing the effect my art has on others and the way it s recieved to be a huge push to do more.

I just keep working, theres always something to do. If your actually really stuck going back on old sketchbooks works pretty good. Try an alternative medium, pick up an instrument, draw a single line and go from there, start editing a photo, gesso a canvas, etc.
Writing I find also helps me, just do really lol. Keep at it!
